I had en suite, new-fashioned room complete with a seaview, coffee and a big window to the back garden. A hair dryer, a walk-in shower and bath sheets were a plus. The hotel was in a central setting almost on the seafront.

The room was lovely, large, light, modern-looking, colourful and well furnished and the King-size bed was also very large and comfortable. The bar stayed open until midnight which was convenient and the staff were friendly. Overall the hotel was very good value for money.
Some of the 'unseen' places in our room (E.G. corners, under & behind cupboards and wardrobes) had obviously not been cleaned/dusted for some time. Breakfast was only served from 8.00 to 9.30 a.m. - even at weekends. This is a bit early for the average English requirement in my opinion; I would normally expect breakfast to be served at least until 10.30 on Sundays for example.

This was our second stay at the hotel, we were in a 3rd floor room - the lift was not working on this visit, but it didn't bother us. The room was spacious and light, with a very comfortable bed, seating area and large flat screen tv. Bathroom compact but very clean and modern. Good location and easy to find nearby parking, free as given a parking permit by the hotel. Would stay here again on any further visits to Eastbourne.
